Secure......you thought...your hold on me
eyes off the prize and now I'm free
my soul is purged...my system empty of thee
Arms spread wide with anticipation of what will be
so intense...my love so strong...blinded
to the point...you could do no wrong...
Now I clearly see the past...
should have known it wouldn't last...
warning signs blowing in the wind
like 'flags'...this is no amusement park...
this is life...your battles I stood ready to fight...
I put down the armor...I've let you go...
For who you are...is the one I didn't know...

would there now be a past? Life is but,
an hour glass...and though looking I could not see...
for the embodiment of you enveloped me
I could not breathe...you were...

made and extraordinary pair! Thus not meant to be..
